Santa Maria del Fiore Cityscape

Discover Florence from a new perspective with this three-dimensional representation of its landscape. Santa María del Fiore Cityscape reproduces in relief a previously defined selection, dedicated to Santa María del Fiore, campanile and baptistery and designed to contemplate its forms from a different point of view.

The octagonal dome of Santa María del Fiore meets Giotto's campanile and the baptistery between the streets and courtyards of the center of Florence. The three buildings articulate a monumental complex of different volumes and proportions.

The view from above allows us to recognize the layout of the cathedral and its nearby spaces. The dome and the campanile provide the vertical landmarks of a composition that relates the monument to the density of the Florentine historical fabric.

The white finish with plaster effect texture and the wooden frame turn the relief into a decorative object that combines architecture, design and memory. A way to keep a special place close and discover its miniature forms.

With a represented area of approximately 330 × 330 m on a relief of 12.55 × 12.55 cm, the piece offers an approximate horizontal scale of 1:2,630. The exterior format with frame is 15 × 15 cm.

A piece for lovers of Florence, art and Italian architecture, to give as a gift or to incorporate a memory of this place into the decoration.
