The Treasure of Petra Cityscape

Discover Petra from a new perspective with this three-dimensional representation of its landscape. The Treasure of Petra Cityscape reproduces in relief a previously defined selection, dedicated to Al-Khazneh, the Treasure of Petra and designed to contemplate its forms from a different point of view.

The façade of Al-Khazneh is integrated into the rock in front of the arrival courtyard and the Siq gorge. The columns, the tholos and the urn organize the monumental front and focus attention on the architecture of the Treasury.

The contrast between the façade and the rock walls gives depth to the composition. The piece proposes a relief interpretation of the meeting between the monument and the landscape, with the access and the open space that precedes the façade as part of the scene.

The white finish with plaster effect texture and the wooden frame turn the relief into a decorative object that combines architecture, design and memory. A way to keep a special place close and discover its miniature forms.

With a represented area of approximately 255 × 255 m on a relief of 12.55 × 12.55 cm, the piece offers an approximate horizontal scale of 1:2,030. The exterior format with frame is 15 × 15 cm.

A piece for lovers of Petra, Nabataean architecture and landscapes carved into the rock, to give as a gift or incorporate a memory of this place into the decoration.
